Be part of Harvesters' winning "Souper Bowl" team and make a touchdown that touches people's lives. How? By collecting food and money for those in need through the Souper Bowl Week of Caring.
Harvesters is excited to partner with the Kansas City Chiefs to fire up all football fans in the fight against hunger in our region.
Here's 3 easy ways you can help:
Give Food. (before, during or after your Super Bowl party!) Ask guests to bring nonperishable items to your party or collect food all week at work or in your neighborhood. Deliver food collected by Friday, February 8 to be counted as part of the Souper Bowl of Caring campaign.
Give Time. Schedule a two-hour volunteer shift for you and your group/family to sort and repackage donated food. Volunteers who bring at least 25 food donations per person will receive a special souvenir soup mug. Sign Up for a 2-hour volunteer shift. Call 816-929-3090 or email volunteer@harvesters.org.
