Harvesters is so grateful for the work of our volunteers, who bring their hearts and hands to the job of feeding hungry people! We could not feed 141,500 people every month without the dedication and service of our volunteers.
Hours spent sorting food, assisting at special events or providing professional service equate to the work of an additional 90 full-time employees.
We look forward to hearing from you and having you be part of the effort to help solve hunger. Just two hours of your time can make a difference!

Are you looking for a new team-building activity? Check out Harvesters’ Lunch Challenge!
Lunch Challenge is a fast-paced, hands-on team-building program that helps groups work toward a common goal and raise awareness about the issue of hunger. Teams work together to prepare a healthy meal on a budget using food you would find at a food pantry. After the judging, teams get to eat their culinary creations! For more information, click here.
Harvesters offers a unique opportunity for youth, ages 12 and older, to become active as hunger advocates. Youth can learn more about hunger and how they can be involved through our Youth Hunger Summit and Youth Leadership Council. Click here for more information about Youth Engagement.
Internships provide a hands-on educational experience where students can learn, grow, and contribute in a professional setting all at the same time. All interns are provided with a comprehensive orientation to the organization, ongoing training and supervision by qualified management staff. Please contact the Community Engagement Manager at InfoRequest@harvesters.org to make an appointment to discuss individualized opportunities.
