An extra special congratulations to Brendan Zahner from Troop 118, this year’s Heart of America Council Eagle Scout Project of the Year recipient!

As part of his recognition, Brendan will throw out the first pitch at Scout Day at the K on Sunday, April 10. Brendan worked with the KC Master Gardeners group and Mary McClure was the project sponsor for his Eagle project. The Master Gardeners purchased all of the drip irrigation supplies and lumber.
