Skills-Based Volunteer Opportunities
Professional Project-Based Volunteers Needed
Are you interested in volunteering for Harvesters remotely in a short-term, skills-based role? Or are you able to support Harvesters feed our community behind-the-scenes on a more consistent basis? Harvesters is excited to announce that we will soon be launching multiple skills-based volunteer opportunities.
Skills-based volunteers are individuals who would like to donate their professional services and expertise in areas such as technology, project management, operations, marketing, strategy, teaching, social work, admin and more!
It’s an opportunity to grow your network, sharpen your skills, and share your talents with Harvesters as we work to continue providing consistent access to food and resources throughout our community.
How it’s going to work:

Find the perfect opportunity.
You’ll look through our list of opportunities to see which role is best for your skill set and time availability.

Apply.
Because of the nature of skills-based opportunities, volunteers must apply and provide a history of your qualifications.

Interview.
If your application is approved, we’ll schedule a virtual or phone interview so we can learn more about you and you can learn more about the position.

Background check.
All skills-based volunteers must be able to pass a background check.

Orientation and training.
After all previous steps are completed, we’ll schedule your orientation and introductory meeting with the Project Lead so you can get started.

Volunteer.
Thank you for donating your time and talents to help us provide for food insecure families throughout our community.
